About the Director
Shelby Wilson started teaching in the West Fork school district in 2012. Ms. Wilson is a 2008 graduate of Albia High School, earning her Associate of Arts, A.A. from Indian Hills Community College in 2009. She earned her Bachelor of Music Education, B.M.E. from Simpson College in 2011, and began her teaching career at the West Hancock school district.
Ms. Wilson was involved in numerous music activities all throughout high school and college, including concert choir, chamber choir, concert band, jazz band, and show choir. She has also been employed as a choreographer, accompanist and private music instructor. In her free time, Ms. Wilson enjoys camping, boating, jet skiing, tennis, running, reading, swing dancing, drawing, cooking, and watching HGTV. |
